There are a ridiculously small number of vulgar club adverts, and those people get banned.

There isn't anything one can do except wait for the ban, which happens pretty fast. I have reported people for offensive names and often received a response in about 5-10 minutes, with the target player logging out (presumably for the name change) a few minutes later.

This is actually just purely and demonstrably false. And they absolutely do not ban the people posting these adverts; The same venues advertise CONSTANTLY. EVERY DAY.

Here's an innocuous looking ad that has been in PF for a few days on Crystal. Gee, I wonder what's on their carrd site?



Oh look, it's ERP pricing and information on the various escorts kinks. I am shocked who could have seen this coming.



Let's try another one. Openly recruiting courtesans in PF, how interesting!



Oh wow, a temple! what a cool theme for RP, I wonder what kind of cool stuff is on their carrd



Uh oh, the "temple" openly advertises NSFW services from a lalafell!

Linking to ToS violating content in-game is a bannable offense, and records of example bans of that nature plainly exist. The most high-profile and recent example would be the user that was banned for linking OnlyFans in their adventurer plate. You do not magically get a cloak of plausible deniability by using external links.

It's not linking something that gets you banned. It's linking people to explicit paragraphs about your kinks, pornographic images of your character using third party mods, and sex rp pricing that violates ToS. Hope that helps!

100% untrue. I reported a club one time that had NSFW in-game photos on their site. Not long after, never saw them advertising again and their site changed. Guarantee you that something happened.

It's always funny the people that come on here assuming they know what they are talking about.

There is, to me, a big difference between 1) lewd limsa 2) Constant shout ads for yet-another-venue 3) heading into party finder to seek out moral panic.

1 needs to be put in the trash harshly. 2 can be dealt with using log settings, if you are offended by the word "courts" then umm use your log settings, shout is useless outside of set situations, when it can be flipped on. 3 I don't care about that, it's in the "other" tab.

Although there is a subset of FF players who are incredibly thirsty, FF is very tame compared to other games. It's also cleaner than walking round in real life, where there are numerous venue and brothel ads up on billboards.

I guess it depends on the server but for as long as i have been player i havent noticed anything i would consider vulgar or explicit. I have seen some shouts about a club or some other rp venue but none i can recall that screamed it might be seedy.

Funnily enough, my experience with World Transfer on Balmung wasn't lewd in any way. Overly political though. And only in Ul'dah.

/shout chat barely exists in Zodiark apart from Limsa, and even then it dies almost as quickly as it starts.
