What existing final fantasy character clothing would you like to see in ffXIV?

Honestly, anything inspired by Amano's designs. Like the Moonward sets being inspired by the FF4 cast (is not an actual replica, but pretty close).

I'd love a new collection to contemplate more people:

Fending/Maiming, inspired by Golby. We already had Cecil Paladin, and his Dark Knight version we also already have the helmet and very similar alternatives. Kain is way too Dragoon-y to work as a generic tank set though.


Striking/Scouting, inspired by Yang:


Aiming, inspired by Rosa (I know, healers would probably be mad at this, but Rosa is also an archer...):


Healing and Casting, inspired by Palom and Porom. This seems like a really obvious choice because the original material is already recoloured with minor differences. Plus for once a set that would look best on Lalafells before anybody else



My other candidates would probably be FF7 Remake outfits... Maybe Barret and Tifa and their hairstyles, not genderlocked.

Also, Vivi/IX Black Mage garb. I know you can kinda create it though.

The Seventh Hell is kinda close to it, but it would be amazing if we had a BLM artifact set directly inspired by black waltzes, with dark feathered ornaments and all!

You're getting your swords mixed up. The one from the FATE is larger, more like Cloud's sword. The Odenta is from the Ryumyaku tomestone series.

I love the ff4 ones specially but ff4 was my first ff game lol

We've got Yuna outfit too, and Rydia's too (not a mogstation outfit for that one).
But yes, there's not much legacy outfits for female FF characters.

Maybe because these male outfits tend to be unisex (Noctis, Squall, Firion, Zidane).
Yuna and Lightning outfit both were introduced with Tidus and Noel outfits too.

And on the subject of the topic, Fang's outfit from FFXIII would be nice.

That would be cool. Im surprised there isnt any directly IX BLM attire considering how famous it is.
