What existing final fantasy character clothing would you like to see in ffXIV?

Yeah, I was going to comment on that. It's not quite the same, since the job gear has the chestwrap on both genders and the yellow sash is attached to it, so you can't create the exact combination of bare chest, sash and pants, but Yang is still almost certainly the inspiration for that set.

Yea it's definitely meant to evoke Yang vibes, similar to how the EW Maiming set is meant to evoke Golbez's outfit but using the Cosmic Paladin look that Cecil has in the Dissidia games for the actual armor details. Or like how the EW Striking and Scouting sets are meant to represent 2 of Edge's looks with Scouting getting his Amano look and the Striking version adding a cape and meant to evoke his overworld/dungeon sprite which featured a more prominent cape to it.
