...so every modern ranking system in PvP games? Sorry, can you name me at least three games other than FFXIV that actually have a Ranking / ELO system without deranking built-in?

There should be de-ranking for all ranks. Creating this void pit in Plat where people go up ranks more than they get demoted, leaving behind a void of lack of players, has skewered wait times for plat to diamond 2 extremely negatively.

I wish people who do no healing or damage, constantly feed, and are completely unable to contribute to the team and ruin the game for them would d- WOAH!!!
