Doing the former is not what "traditional" or "real healers" do, and no amount of increasing healing is ever going to make spamming Glare fun or a "reward for doing a good healing job" as Yoshida thinks it is. Embrace what the game is and make healers engaging to play in all content, no matter the skill level. It isn't hard at understand.
