SQ Ruined Christmas!

My FC has done secret santa two years running.

The mog station being to gift friends minions and emotes was a nice and inclusive way for us to include friends with lower income but still wanted to participate.

We never had issues... well until SE decided to change how the mogstation works.

gifting still should of been in. Stupid to get rid of because of RMT. If someone wanted to pay for something then that is there prerogative. RMT for a mount isn't breaking the game. Now if it was to cheat the system its a different story

This obviously will 100% fix RMT right ? Right ?

Oh wait it wont, it's absolutely useless, and once again only punishes legit players. But hey, some people will keep defending the game and the dev's decisions at all cost, as per usual

This is not meant to fix RMT. They're doing this to keep track of suspicous ongoing RMT activities.
Also the RMT is not limited to resale, as suggested by the person you responded to, but the exploits of stolen credit card information.

These are all mentioned in official announcement.

the shop is smooth and not as archaic as FFXIV's, and also it's in the game as well

Though I personally don't want cash shop to be in the game, I do agree with the bad design on mogstation. Moreover, I think the design of every official webiste under Square Enix is kinda terrible. Not to mention the notorious sign-up process.
