WoW is the go-to scapegoat.
Which is funny, considering that - especially now, having gotten into WoW thanks to a friend's recommendation - it's abundantly clear Yoshida 'saved' 1.0 by literally just copy-pasting a ton of things WoW did. Beyond simple "taking inspiration", just full on yanking out WoW systems (and somehow making them worse more often than not). This entire game was genuinely built as an attempted WoW clone in a FF skin, so people bringing WoW up as the big bad evil just makes me laugh nowadays.
While its nice that the items can now be sent directly to a character in game (this change has been needed for a while) I was planning on gifting the shiba mount for Christmas, but now I guess I'll have to find something else. Seriously, this just seems like doing your housekeeping by setting your house on fire.

I wish I had to pee, but unfortunately your jokes are far too dry so please step it up, from yourself this time, we are all aware of common internet jokes and its not so funny when every try hard goes around copy pasting them.

Are you done crying about it now or do you want to keep going ?
I mean the first one to throw a fit over "SE indie company" meme was DPZ and then in true karen fashion Sassy says it's not funny, yet the one is crying is Stormpeaks? lul. Oh no someone said SE is an indie company, better call them a WoW shill like that's also not a dead meme at this point.
I guess we can all make it fair and say we're all crying tho bcos I like the lil piss fight that's going on here
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
