the chance of a drop does not decrease if you have crystals in your inventory. it stays the same no matter what. unfortunately, that means there’s no way to increase your chances either. RNG is RNG, it took me literally 4 months to get a single atma (albeit back before nerf). just make sure you have the correct quest active, and if so, just keep trying.

I'm gonna test this because I swear I used that for one of the two relics and it basically made first fate guaranteed afterwards.

Having done this recently, I would say my drop rate hovered around 25% - 33%. There was one outlier though where I had to do like 20 fates before I got a crystal. Since I was in a hurry and wanted to go to bed, that was when rng decided to roll super bad. But in general I got 6 crystals in about an hour, 90 minutes tops.

Are you getting absolutely NO crystals or just the wrong type. If none I would check if you already have what is needed from like a long time ago possibly. That or check if the quest is even active. The last thing it seems you must finish with a Gold Rating or it doesn't count.

If not the right type I know certain zones will give you certain types.

If the quest is just wonky you could trade in a Zeta relic to skip that step entirely. You will lose the Zeta weapon so make sure you don't like the look of it before you sacrifice it.

I don't have exact numbers but I did this not too long ago and the most was maybe 20 FATEs but much a lot less. They really increased the drop rate.

Yeah, the quest's active. In response to other suggestions, I've gotten no less than a gold, and I do have inventory space.

It can be quite a struggle with those crystals for some reason or another. I remember spending a couple of hours at least for a few of them, and still coming up with nothing. I would then take a break and come back later, and it would usually happen almost instantly. lol Lootcifer can be cruel, and he has a twisted sense of humor.

that was a coincidence then. just to make sure, i even did some research to see if it, for some reason, was true, and nothing came up other than your post lol

you're the first person i've ever seen say that too, and i was there for when atma was current, and when HW was current. it's just pure RNG, you put it in your retainer, and you just got lucky the next fate.
