And even then you won't have everything. There are at least 2 minions, several cards, and I've heard the orchestrion roll and even a mount (I'm not sure about this one) drop out of those chests at the end of the Variant.Currently, I don't fancy any of the items from the Criterion modes... to me, there's little incentive to run it more than once for completion track, whereas the Variant version has much more replayability value, nor just by the items, but the completion threshold needs you to run it at least 12 times to get everything.
Not really. The dps check was fine for the balanced jobs. People already confirmed there were comps with unbalanced jobs that were unable to hit the check at min ilvl, which was what the content was balanced for.No. It was "Oops. Our team is too gud sometimes."

If anything, this would help the people who are struggling, because they could farm up better gear for their members to help brute force whatever boss they are stuck on.
Yet SE keeps releasing ultimates 16 or so weeks after savage which requires BiS or at the very least near it (1 or 2 ilvls beneath MAX). I don't think I can simply lower the ilvl req to 610 for that lmao.
Ultimate is a poor excuse as so few even run it or clear it. People can't even get their BiS right for unreal.
What percentage of the player base is participating in Ultimate, let alone clearing it?
What percentage of those that are participating are forcing themselves to get BiS on every single job instead of just one or two jobs they will be using for Ultimate?
Getting BIS on your primary job you use for progression is reasonable. That's not the problem. The problem is the players who expect to get BiS for every job even though they never touch the job in content after leveling it.
Im not sure what the point is about unreal. You are synced to 565 ilvl for that content, which the game basically gives you that level gear for free.
This is a terrible argument. If almost no one does it, why release the content at all? Why balance it for Savage level Gear requirements and sync to the Savage BiS ilvl? The fact is it is there and in the game lmao.
Every job? Hell try just a couple jobs. If you PF clear week 1, you can only realistically get one set of gear to max ilvl before the ultimate comes out. Oh you play tank, but also want to play insert random class on the side? Welp you can play that in ultimate a few months from now.
Can we please have people that actually do these levels of content contribute to the discussion?
Yeah... Well, I think they might add the augmentation tokens next patch when it also becomes available for purchase with Alliance Raid coins, but er... That's a bit too late, I guess. Adding now would be the perfect chance to have a steady amount of people running Criterion modes in those 2 months preceding the next patch, to gear alt jobs.
My point is people have the opportunity to do the same as they would for ultimate and they blow it. So, this argument for making top tier BiS easier to get is BS.
Again, I find myself also asking what the rush is. It's not like a ton of people are gonna go clear ultimate as soon as it comes out.

last I heard all ultimates are super easy and if Rich Campbell can clear uwu in 3 hours then everyone else is expected to clear within the exact same timeframeWhat percentage of the player base is participating in Ultimate, let alone clearing it?
