Its easy. Google me. Jibikly Pureheart lodestone. What I am saying is that everyone accepts Fishing to be how it is.. This useless job that has a lot of useless grinding comparing to its brothers Botanist and Miner. Its like everyone accepts it! Yes sure Fisher is.. just ... different. NO Its bad. Its a bad designed job with a bad designed system at this moment. Fishing is USELESS!! Yes Ocean Fishing, yes, they made that. Fishing is useless and it shouldnt be. Im sad that the community just says "yeah it is what is is" ....

Useless? Every battle job except Paladin, White Mage and well... Dragoon? Is useless as well.

I like fishing. It is my favorite side activity. And I can make millions selling stuff I fish. But you have to think outside the box sometimes.

Fisher is designed for a minority of players who actually enjoy RNG heavy grinding. And it does not take away many ressources from other content. Just let us have some fun.

It's not useless. It has stuff needed in endgame food recipes. Plus big fishing is a pretty big draw. The fishing community is quite large

I dunno I do know the sheer size of whats needed for the relic is disheartening in comparsion to the others. But I don't mind the fishing in FF14 even if it doesn't have a overall use than to just exist. Honestly though so many games have fishing it would be weird if it was absent.

Fishing may have required more, but that's only because you got to sit still instead of run around in circles. It's so chill compared to the other gatherers. It's only natural things get balanced that way.

Is it the Skybuilder tools? I find Fisher relic is way easier than Miner and Botanist... Both are so tedious to gather at Diadem while Fisher is just... Go to Azys Lla and pop Patience II and done with it

Meant to keep? You're not meant to keep anything. You grab some bait, try and catch some fish in a region and be done with it. ARR is a little heavy on the baits, but outside of that content area, you don't need to keep anything you picked up there. The same goes for all the other expansions. They made versatile lures as well as freshwater and saltwater boilies for those people that want to go everywhere. Metal Spinners are the go-to for deliveries.

A tackle box would eventually become irrelevant when a player completes their fishing log. This is one reason the team will never add any kind of dedicated inventory. It's better just to have general space.
