pretty sure the equipment used at these things is like all rented out from somewhere in bulk. things like MMO mouses are rather expensive no? I doubt they're an option.

Plus you'd have to keybind the buttons and whatnot yes? They only allow you a couple minutes to setup before they force you to start. It would hold things up too much.

Then at the very least they should allow us to bring our own considering most of them work default without any proprietary software. Those of us using them would be more than happy to bring our own to these events so we can play how we are comfortable.

It's not, I've been without an MMO mouse for two years and still can play GNB properly, even just by clicking my skills. If you're used to using keybinds and want them to ptovide for your specific case/you personally have struggles or issues not using them then that's fair but saying it's too much in general is false.

My husband in game also plays GNB on controller, just throwing that our there.

That's awesome that you have your own playstyle for this game, but I and many others have different ways of playing. I've never been very good at playing MMO's without an MMO mouse due to the sheer amount of skills needed to push without accidentally pressing another skill due to fat fingering or finger tangling.

I've been using MMO mice in MMO's since Aion, so the transition to basic kb+m would be horrific. It'd be nice to have options to either have them included or allow us to bring our own, with the exception of it being able to work on basic drivers. (Razer Naga's work without any drivers, for example)

It sounds like you might need to adjust your hotbars if you're still stretching after continuation got condensed. I play with a regular mouse and don't have any problems.

Because that's how you're used to playing with your keybinds. I've used MMO mice for years because I find my fingers get tangled and slide along other keybinds easilly without an MMO mouse to space my controls apart.
