Oh it's not mine either, and the fault is frankly more on my side. Because even if it's not my native language, I have to work with it every day T_T; I SHOULD have been more careful with what I said. Me not understanding why you had that reaction was a double fail from my part.

But yeah. I do think we'll see some variety. Here's hoping, at least, because if anything this thread has shown us is that the community that supports Female Hrothgar WANTS variety.

Now, there is a baseline model that Square is going to have, that's true, and our expectations shouldn't go too far from that. It's very obvious they're going to reuse Roe models. I'd honestly be surprised if they didn't. But when it comes to femininity, I think you'll at least have some nice curves, some soft and smooth bits here and there. And I do hope it comes with a muscle slider; that way, we can control just how "masculine" we want them to be. As for the heads, I hope we'll see the same, but frankly, I can't really imagine much else other than a normal lioness's head :x

That isn't Square's fault or anything, I just don't know what else they'll do. My imagination really is that limited. The males had really interesting spins on how cat heads look and work, stuff that I didn't even think could be implemented. So it will be even more limited for females.

This is part of the issue.
The other is also that we like to invent new meanings to words and change things depending on the current Culture & Political climite.
I dont envy anybody learning English. But there are at least some people nice enough to understand language barriars and work to correct misunderstandings.

I hope it comes in the graphics update. Maybe if they can polish up our graphics, they can work on stuff like this a bit more. Because right now, those races that have tails tend to not have a muscle slider. Because Square repurposed that slider option. So if they can update the graphics and boost stuff, yeah, maybe then we can have chest sliders, butt sliders AND muscle sliders to help Hrothgar women be either leaner or bulkier.

And just with that, it'd go a long way to make them look naturally similar to males, but still keep a figure that we can instantly recognize as being female. Roegadyn have that already, but Hrothgar chests are a lot puffier than Roegadyn chests. Because our body has an hourglass shape, so with our chests being that wide, we'll end up looking too much like female Hrothgar on accident if they don't do something about it |D

True, but if we want to make the females stand out, the males need to de-puff that chest a bit.

We do have fanart that's more or less in line with what people have been discussing, stuff that's been drawn years ago... Would any these be more to your liking? They're still rather lean, but they could still have some good curves to them without looking hyper-masculine, like Roe bodies tend to be:

Oh I definitely like those examples! In my mind they look taller and more upright than male Hrothgars as well so that would be perfect!

I hope they don't give up on feminine features nor on beastly features. I'm confident they can find a good common ground that's both feral/beastly but still feminine. I just don't want Male Hrothgars with boobs pasted on top of them, you know? Some sexual dimorphism is fine. Just don't overdo it, I don't want the Male/Female Au Ra dichotomy all over again.

Also, I'm just HOPING they have some VARIETY to their voices. I hope we can choose from grizzled old woman, but also for something more young adult/mid 20s adult, not like Male Hroths that all voices seem to be well into their 50s...

I actually like my level of dimorphism..,
but of course not for all races/species..,
We got different origins<or not for some cases in Eitherys..,>
but for Rothgars, I'd say something closer, or between Mid/High landers gender differences, amplified by the Genders Femininity, and Beast Features.[since no one wants them to look similar like lalafels, and we don't have any real race where the differences are stark. unless you want to count Au Ra in that. but I just don't see it. since its only a height thing with us.]
where with HRothgar it can turn out to be huge or minor differences in Beast Features. or Huge and Minor differences in size.
<some don't like the height differences between the Xaela/Raen.., so I wonder if that's one thing they'll do with Rothgars. since roes don't have much difference except wideness and a bit of height(asides the obvious gender bits)>

but long as it's a Blatantly in your face Female HRothgar, that isn't in opposition to the path theme/path/art direction males are heading. most will be happy.
[I at least hope they do right by everyone as possible. but as my previous comment.., if it's close to that sketch. there's another race/species to be wary about in the streets of Eorzea]

that said what kind of voices would they have, in everyone's opinion. I'm sure none imagine them being any close to the smaller races high pitch.., though not as heavy as some of the bigger races<though that option will exist, surely>

That said, I like Male Hrothgar voices, many of them remind me of Rengar. That said, I wish there were more variety than "Rengar" >>;

I swear, Square, if all we get is Nidalee for female Hrothgar...
