Be careful what you wish for. You just might get your desire only to end up witnessing what I just did, which was someone using nothing but AoEs in a boss fight unironically.

My condolences lol. It's somewhat comforting that others go through these ridiculous situations too.
Try the first and second roulettes of the day, but I respect your opinion.
It's very strange to me that dunegons/raids have a 'recommended' iLvl but apparently allow any iLvl in regardless? I don't really understand the rationale the devs had when implementing that. Seems like it's asking for potential trouble. Is that why Titania was so 'difficult'(time consuming) back in the day? This is the reason why I personally stopped using DF outside of Expert for tomes. Along with people entering content with vastly lower ilvl gear, I'll just point it out. Based on answer, I'll either just eat the 30 to go play something else or complete the instance then BL afterwards.

I appreciate the discussion here!
I do apologize for making this thread fresh after a bad experience, but I think it's still a genuine topic and 'issue' (seems to vary wildly with people in this thread) worth discussing.
The bad experience; Mt Gulg run gone bad due to single targets being used. After a while, tanks will run out of mitigation and healers will run out of MP / more powerful instants and deaths occur.
I find it wild how people will press a TON of buttons to argue against me and the idea that AOEs should be used, press a lot of buttons to do that single target roto, but legitimately cannot or will not press 1 AoE on repeat at the bare minimum.
