I've seen his responses to some pretty random questions at Fanfest Q&As. His face had "Seriously? You had one question and this is what you went with?" written all over it.

I think people are trying really hard to emulate Zepla's pre-EW interview with Yoshida. While everyone else focused on the story or the gameplay, Zepla was both informative and rather humorous, deciding not to focus on anything too serious. She probably knew that what would be asked had already been asked by someone else, and that whatever would be left would be too secret for Yoshida to answer straight.

But this ain't it, chief. This isn't Zepla humour, this isn't a NIGHTMEAH moment. This is a waste of time.

Even if this particular topic isn't one Yoshida wants to touch on, there are other questions that could have been asked that he could honestly not even need to go in that deep:
- The upcoming graphics overhaul, especially in terms of races
- Now that we've seen Troia and Zero's domain, will we explore Mhach from this angle in the near future?
- There's a disconnect between the Ivalice/Bozja story and the MSQ, and now that Matsuno isn't participating in it, what will be done about Dalmasca? And what is the team's approach to that content at the moment? Because some NPCs were not brought to justice at all, and some players do want resolution for the events after Bozja as a whole.
- Will we ever see the First have any prominence again, even if in sidequests? (Seems we will have this in Hildy, but I'd ask if there's anything else planned)
- Will jobs have unique emotes or features? By features I mean like BRD performance. Such as an AST using the deck described in the Encyclopaedia Eorzea Vol 1 to engage in cartomancy, or a simplified version of it.
- Considering Corvos might be visited soon, would it be possible to expand on surrounding areas, such as visiting more of Bozja, Dalmasca and Werylt, or visit Landis and Valnain?

You know :| stuff that is small but carries a bit more information than whatever it was they wanted to go for.

Seems they actually did mention Gaia still has more story to come. Unukalhai, if you've completed the whole laundry list of requirements to get him to the First, also has updated dialogue post-6.2 saying he wants to meet up with those responsible for bringing life back to the Empty! Might be related, methinks?

Honestly, not just in FFXIV, but back when I played WoW too, I never really trusted these QnAs to be extremely "productive" regarding the hot topics in the community just because they can filter the questions they want to answer, either beforehand or on spot.

Not having a question and answer about glamour restriction doesn't mean anything regarding a if/how/when it's going to be done. At least n a sense, it's a bit reassuring that it is not a straightforward "no, we don't want".

Yeah I agree. Though I think it's kinda shitty to have to buy them with real money (on top of leveling the respective DoH/L), there's no reason we shouldn't have the option also...
