    Yes but clearly since you can having 5-6 DPS pulling 100+ DPS on Coincounter with a WAR tank, killing it in under 2minutes, you don't need all that superfluous enmity PLD can generate. It's a talent that is wasted/lost on that fight.

    Extra enmity does not always make up for the loss of significant damage. If you are holding "just enough" enmity to keep stuff of BLMs in the above scenario or are a PLD skyrocketing past their enmity levels, then the largest different in the fight is the lost DPS from the tank.

    Honestly, if you're so hung up on efficiency that people aren't allowed to join your groups because they don't contribute enough damage, even though you'll still win...

    I think you'll find people who want to play efficiently will care. An organized linkshell will do what they find to be most efficient. We don't have to deny people joining our groups cuz we don't PUG anyone.

    PUGs are a wildcard always, no one can control that.

    Yeah and we can adjust our strategy sure. It's not how we typically run things but it's not like we're not gonna achieve a speed run because we changed the WAR to a PLD suddenly. There are factors like knowing the instance well, having group synergy from playing with the same people for awhile, and being familiar with boss mechanics, amongst other things.

    Are we gonna do it "as fast". No we might miss out by a few seconds, but if you can clear these raids in 20mins or 24:59m then it's no different than my above example about over-generating enmity. Now if you want to do more raids in less time, then you want to maximize everything and PLD isn't really part of that little equation right now unfortunately.
