I'd really like to see video proof of something like this happening because if client to client interactions were actually capable of making this happen I feel like it would be much more common then it is.

It happened yestereday from 1:10 pm to 1:30 pm. in that party chat logs.

Takan Ame then responding to me : "did you read my message upon your game shutting down ?"

I said "yes, i did get that weird message"

Takan Ame "Good then, it was to test your honesty that you will tell me that you read it"

The Chat logs and the events reported honestly and faithfully can be easily found by GM's if there is a will and not a complete corrupt system in backdoor collaboration with streamers and this underground black market, through even straming platforms, which i suspect ,sorry to say, that it is far larger and interconnected than one imagine. As i never report something that i am not personally experiencing, ever. Sorry to disappoint i don't lie.

Did he also address people using third party tools to inject your client into the possibility to shut your client down with a very custom warning message upon the windows closing ? It happens that streamers have friends able to do this in all impunity, as a weird somewhat extreme gm-like corrupt privilege.

Because to have the bad luck of finding myself into a PF with a streamer i had a shut down of my client followed by a message, and when i logged back inthe game, the person asked me if i read the message he sent me through shut down, i said, yes, that it was weird that he would know about this, and replied back that it was to "test my honesty". ( i never use third party tools tbh for anything and the raid could proceed )

Weird that it takes being violated with third party tools to test your "honesty" or "loyalty", still the same predator raping the victim mindset and finding yourselves excuses of "checking ur client for third party tools" for doing so. Random People thinking they can be the nsa patting your genitals at the entry of the internet airport to see if you are still a virgin or something.

I'm sorry dude but it did, and i'd really want to see at least some consequences for it for "once" because i'm really loosing faith in this game and mostly into the west's part of the game to actually do something for once. But it seems there is a deep corrupt problem around the gm side of things on the west side of the game. Just like many other mmo's, age of conan for one, wow to some extent has this inner friend circle corrupt top to bottom issue with inter friendships privilege gift and third party exploits shared to one another in many layers dripping from a few acquaintances of one or two gm's to the base. Allways the case, and i'm very disappointed to discover after so many years that it is the EXACT same sh*t around here.

You realize this 'proof' is extremely weak, right?

A) There is no party chat showing, meaning there is no proof anything was said in party chat and you can be lying.

B) There's no proof this person whose "streaming" isn't in on your conspiracy theories you ramble on about all the time and wanted to make some fake evidence.

C) There is no character in the log by "Katt Felista". Meaning there's no proof you are anyone in this log at all. if you want to prove this connection, log into the forums as the account that has one of these characters and make the same claim, as currently there is nothing linking you to this log in any way shape or form besides you saying it was you.

In fact, I found the streamer's twitch out of curiosity and looked at the full instance. Not even a minute later, the guy says 'Oh, they were telling a really bad joke.' Even beyond that fact, if it did happen to you, I would be more questioning why you would have stayed in that party and not put in an instant GM report and left.

The closest I recall to anything like client-to-client forced shutdowns occurring was a rumor I heard about some sort of Cactbot thing where if you were on a blacklist it shut the plugin down for everyone.

Not saying that it's strictly impossible for client hacks to happen, though for it to be targeted like that one wonders if you'd installed third party add-ons yourself, which is "at your own risk".

The evidence presented is inconclusive of the claim, I'm sorry but I don't see how any of that connects or proves that a forced disconnect happened, or at the very best, the evidence hasn't been very well explained.

It's comical at this point. Imagine being the head dev for an international game funded by a multi billion dollar company, and instead of just realizing that your language is spoken by literally 1.6% of the world's population and hiring at least one translator to cover the most widely spoken language on earth, you simply leave it to the fans to potentially screw up. It's a miracle no ill intentioned troll has come out with subtle troll translations to make Yoshi seem like a dick or something. How would we even know it was wrong? Square won't fund their own fucking translations.

This is important because the whole thread, and this whole discussion going forward, hinges on translated text by some dude on reddit. And, I mean, props to him for translating it at all, but imagine if even one thing is wrong and now our whole discussion is founded on something that wasn't even intended to be interpreted that way. Deep-quote interpretations of LL discussions always rub me the wrong way for this reason. I feel like we're coming at it from a questionable place. This isn't meant to throw shade on the free translators doing god's work, I'm just rambling sorry.
