If these changes are seriously implemented because they think it is necessary to expand the job next expansion then please explain summoner's rework to me?
It is on a rigid 60 second loop after the rework, so rigid in fact that delaying your demi summon phase is a massive dps loss. What are they planning to add? 1 new spell that replaces the single Ruin 3 you cast every minute?

How do they justify removing abilities "for future expansions to the job", but then go and rework a job to have 0 room to expand on?

92 - trait that adds one extra charge to your titan phase to replace that one ruin 3
94 - trait that adds potency to mountain buster slipstream and that ifrit dash thing
96 - new 60s OGCD skill that takes both aetherflows but deals massive damage with aoe falloff (stronger than 2 festers on singletarget)
98 - trait that adds a third charge of radiant shield for people in PF to never use
100 - jk, they'll make the max level 99, new skill with 2 min CD that lets you summon leviathan ramuh and shiva egis to do a 3 hit combo attack. 3x700potency, doesnt do anything else, just a SMN themed dream-within-a-dream basically

I personally expect some numbers tweaks, maybe an additional ogcd somewhere and Leviathan, Ramuh, Shivah as a a second set of egis before Phoenix which mechanically play exactly the same as Ifrit, Titan and Garuda

That was exactly my thought as well, which is why I said "expand" on the job. Because adding some increased potency traits and some flashy summons that are functionally identical to what already exists isn't what I'd call expanding the job.

The rotation will be exactly the same because they already designed themselves into a corner.

It would probably the best to first move away from the 2 minute meta which turned out to be pretty bad for the game and instead of tying the demis to a cooldown instead creating a builder spender gauge in which you for example collect dreadwyrm aether to unleash Bahamut, vice versa with Phoenix.

They could and should add an additional layer of oGCD resource management to SMN to expand it. There's way more hope for SMN than for any healer class.
