I will. It's a common take as well, just so you know.

It's like going to a place of worship and saying you worship nobody. It's trolling to press the fact you don't like story in a story game.

Everyone that I've seen press it in the novice network just came to the game because they wanted to troll and, ironically, harass people for liking the story. The majority of people who skip just don't make a big deal out of it like that.

Now they might mention that they skipped in a conversation, but what I mean is they don't make a big deal out of it usually and therefore don't stir up a heated debate like any troll does.

You play video games for multiple reasons because video games have multiple genres. You specifically play FFXIV, an MMORPG, for its specific genre of content, all of which is underpinned by and inspired by a story.

Yes, you can enjoy FFXIV without the story but then you shouldn't try to troll people about the story and then pretend you are the victim of harassment.
