It's a rebuff window, I get 2 melee combos, my swift and accelerations. You can cast dual cast move and since you move as a pact it doesn't impact you. I much prefer RDM than SMN on p7s because I'd be doing that part as SMN during burst window without my Bahamut.

Regarding SMN of misaligning Bahamut with buff window. It's pretty significant.

Maths are there but basically you're doing 2/3 of the damage you normally have access. The other solution is to spam Ruin III and this is a filler move is really really bad.
