They already know who you are. They literally say there is nothing they can do to prevent you from leaving, which is why they threaten you with the twins lol.There's a difference between being a thug and letting people walk all over you, imo. As in, if we walk in there and start murdering them that's one thing, but as it stands we went in for a civil discussion and were attacked. At that point it's about making it painfully clear that there will be no threats made here, and that goes for them as well.
You only come off as peaceful or empathic in a conflict if you've shown yourself to be capable of great violence, and then show obvious restraint. Otherwise you're just going to be considered harmless, not peaceful.
I mean, you don't even have to be as arrogant as I described above, it's just that the main cast has such a roundabout way of expressing anything that it gets on my nerves sometimes.
The twins especially. Endless monologues about abstract idealism and pointless linguistic flourish. Gets old when you're trying to get things done.
