As respectfully as possible: I'm glad some in this thread aren't in charge of character writing and story writing for this game.
Calling G'raha a homewrecker is extremely funny.

Regarding the purpose of the rewrite, it is mentioned that graha has no goal/purpose and simply want to go adventure with WOL, in my opinion... he already spent a long time being the leader and savior in the first, he did that out of neccessity and obligation, now he want to relax and have fun, back to exploring the unknown and adventures, i mean he is a scholar with high curiosity at the core, currently he is in the state of a retired leader of an almost destroyed nation/world finally fulfilled his duty and wanted to do what he always wanted, back being an adventuring scholar along his friend

For sure! People can write their own fan fiction and rewrite beloved characters to be wildly different all they want until their hearts are content! I'm just glad many of the usual suspects in this thread aren't part of the actual story team!
People get real weird about a guy wanting to be their friend. I guess that's par for the course around here. Probably not used to it.
At least some of us are guys who are into guys. Furthermore unwanted advancements are unwanted advancements.
Thankfully very few people act like G'raha Tia in the real world and those who do are generally held back by a restraining order.
Eh, I read the first two spoiler tags and noped out.
It seems like your rewrite isn't really rewriting his character and more like rewriting him out of the story 90% of the time. He's off alone and we only find out what he does in echo flashbacks, which is against his entire personality (even as the Exarch) of wanting to be near people and actively help them in person.
Well your cup of tea, your fanfic, your enjoyment. Not for me.
I'd encourage you to read the rest of the post. He's with the party for the entirety of Endwalker's 6.0 MSQ. I wrote him out of the patch quests to establish that he's capable of going on his own adventures between expansions/patch quests, but that we're still able to contact him via linkpearl. (I don't believe there were echo visions of Graha until a little further on in the rewrite, we primarily use linkpearls to contact him in the 5.x patch quest rewrites) But regardless of if you do read the rest, thank you for at least reading the first few portions of it.Eh, I read the first two spoiler tags and noped out.

When I say this I don't mean any disrespect, but I didn't think you'd like it, primarily based on a conversation we've had on the forums in the recent past. That's not to say I made the thread to spite you or anything, but I figured that seeing as you have your ideal Graha in the official game, I could partake in a small fun writing exercise and share what my ideal Graha would be. (assuming his story didn't end in 5.3, that would be my ideal)
Any particular reasons you didn't like it?
