It more becomes a problem of the wolves, of course, there is always a cluster of 4-5 level 50-53 wolves hanging out, my experience everytime is that I end up walking through the group of wolves cause there are a lot of trees nearby. I'm sure a blm or class with tons of HP could make it through without a sweat, but my poor ole whm barely made it everytime.
If its the 50 wolves.. here is a secret... hope on a 38+ gathering class and stealth it!!!!
