Viera Feet - Aren't they supposed to be digitigrade?

Usually the inconsistency would have annoyed me too, but then as many people on this thread have pointed out Viera have never been consistent when it comes to their feet... Bar FFXII which is the best, but I digress.

Feet aside, and not as a criticism, it's interesting to me that the Viera fems in the illustration you provided, perhaps as a reflection of the source of the illustration, all appear child-like (I'm guessing because of the size of their heads relative to the rest of the body, the poses, and the expressions?)
In contrast, Viera fems in the game appear more adult.

I've seen Miqo'te fem PCs that look 14 years old or so (human equivalent) but I haven't come across a Viera fem PC that looks that young.

A bit off topic, but I was somewhat hoping for more unique racial hairstyles like the ones in this concept art. Here's to hoping the devs revisit these old concepts to create more unique hairs for Viera.

All of those designs came out before FFXII. FFXII is just an adaptation of the original from FFTA, there's no "canon" Viera.

Hell, Viera only have white hair because of a minor story point in FFTA where one of the characters who was born with white hair dyes it because she was bullied over it and when she gets sucked into Ivalice, she hangs out with the Viera who all have white hair. Later in the game, a Viera helps her get over her thing about her hair color and she has it white again in the epilogue.

Before FFTA, the Ivalice setting didn't even have races that weren't humans.

ACKSHUALLY, we knew the Aegyl existed but something called The Cataclysm led to their extinction. :nerd:

I'm nitpicking for funsies so don't dwell too much on it. At best we only had a reference to "The Winged Ones", future instalments in Ivalice just happened to give a hint as to what they were. The first two Ivalice games, Tactics and Vagrant Story, don't show anything other than humans and sentient creatures like the Lucavi. These are only mentioned in the Wonders menu.
