Bring Mikoto Jinba into the MSQ

Lyon the Beast King would be an excellent addition to the party. While the time we spent together with him was too short and fleeting, he left a very positive impression. My sole request would be for him to get a unique outfit for himself along with his own weapons - as female party members often have exclusive equipment whereas the men almost always use recolors of AF sets.

In fact, there are a number of other Tactics Ogre characters that would serve as more meaningful additions to the current party. Lyon needs no further explanation, save a reminder of his looks:



Someone with the appearance of either Lanselot would also be great (note, the second's hair is supposed to be black, not white):

If we must add even more women to the cast, I would prefer to see more girly ones like Iuria, someone friendly and warm-hearted unlike Y'shtola and Krile's "sassiness" or Zero's cold nature - FFXIV needs to re-examine what it is that makes heroines likeable and compelling like Ysayle was rather than so many of the women that came after her:

Lyon needs no new outfits or weapons. He is perfectly fine as is in all of his muscular shirtless glory.

See that's what I mean though. Give him a new outfit that shows off his chest in new ways. A different necklace, at the very least. I've owned the one he wears since it was first added to the game.

Anyway despite me not agreeing aveyond's shallow reasoning behind the inclusion for Lyon.....he's still a very cool character and I would love to see more of him.

I would love to see Mikoto brought back someday. I love her design, and her Echo is interesting. She was a sweet character to interact with.

Somewhat related- I wish they would just have things be considered as happened when they happened in the release structure, whether the player did the content or not.

Somewhere in 6.xx they should just have a disclaimer “from 7.0 onward it is assumed your character has completed Eden and Bozja’s story. If this bothers you, consider taking the time to complete them now”. Alternatively, give the disclaimer, then upon meeting the character a quick blurb “This is Mikoto. Your character would have met them in the Bozja storyline.”

There is no reason to require bizarre story gymnastics or to simply be able to use interesting characters just because they were in side stories. Gaia and Mikoto being good examples.

They've even got the codex now so I think that they can give players an easy refresher or exposition dump as needed without needing to tie themselves up in knots. They've got a lot of characters locked away in side content that really could do with being dragged into the MSQ's to help keep things from getting stale.
