The thing is tho, how many people have to get banned for features we've been asking for? This isn't the first time they've banned someone then made an announcement to say "We're gonna add QoL updates that we banned this person for". Rules are rules, but its incredibly backwards and thats the annoying part. We should be getting QoL features that we see through mods without people getting banned for modding them in, thus making mods less of a necessity for some people because its baked into the game.
You say that, but that same mentality gives leeway to all sorts of rule breaking just because if its ok for SE to allow this group of people to break this rule, then the ToS is just nothing but empty words.
I may not necessarily agree with all the rules, but I know what I signed up when I wanted to play the game. If us the playerbase dont respect the rules set by the devs, how can we ever expect them to properly respect us?
Because we give them our money. They're obligated to improve their product, something which basically takes way more steps and BS then it should. Not all rules are valid, and SE isn't worth respecting on this issueYou say that, but that same mentality gives leeway to all sorts of rule breaking just because if its ok for SE to allow this group of people to break this rule, then the ToS is just nothing but empty words.

Its not our job to try to play "game dev" and fix the game's issues. Thats their job. I pay to play this game and if something is messed up or annoying, I make sure to give feedback about it and wait till it gets fixed. And if its an issue that personally bothers me to warrant not paying or playing the game? I quit and speak with my money and play something else.
The game isnt this ungodly playable state without addons to warrant the use of them and if thats even the case knowing how we have to be discreet about it....tell me...how in the hells are they going to ever be aware of the issues if the playerbase becomes complacent of themselves fixing the issue!?
You're dividing the warranted attention the problem deserves for it to finally be addressed officially. It just seems like a backward solution to me if we ever want for the developers to take priorities over things players have been asking for.
Rules are still rules.
This issue was known back in 5.5 with Diamond. Not every rule is valid. NEXTIts not our job to try to play "game dev" and fix the game's issues. Thats their job. Y'all butt hurt sqex consistent with no 3rd party allowed especially for High-end content. Try to understand what's "consistent" means and illegal waymarks is illegal, non-3P users didn't get the luxury of such waymarks.
Only way it could've been better is if you made it a haiku lol
