I like the idea of the outfits but I feel like the proportions are off on the top and hood; they're not loose or relaxed enough. The model for the female version of the top even defies gravity to hug their waist. ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ
The hood also doesn't connect to the top, you can see it floating in the mogstore pics. ( >x>)

The Streetwear set has 6 items, compared to this one's 5. Granted, some of the $18 outfits only have 3 items, while others have 5. They really need some consistency with price-per-items I think. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

How is it a big jump in logic? Inflation tends to cause prices of both goods and services to increase every year. Employees need a raise to cover the increases to their housing/utilities/transportation/food/etc? The prices of those items had their prices increased for similar reasons.

The money needs to come from somewhere.

Not every player wants extra retainers.

Not every player is a Fantasia addict, or GP dye addict, or whatever other item/service the game offers as an additional cost feature that you chose to name.

If players don't increase the amount they purchase those services/items and that income remains static, then the game needs to do something to cover increased business costs.

They could increase the cost of everything. Would you prefer that? Or is it better to do what they've chosen to do and just increase the price of newly introduced items compared to comparable items already being sold?

The fat cat set represents a cost increase of 22% compared to similar sets. The inflation rate in Japan is 2.6% as of July 2022. See here. In America, the rate of inflation is 8.3%. Both figures are far lower than the price increase of this set. If Square Enix were to increase the sub price to fit even the much-higher American inflation rate, the sub fee would only increase by $1. It would take almost two years of paying a higher-priced sub to equal the purchase of a single fat cat set.

Hate to say it, but beggars can't be choosers. They didn't even want to make these races, but were pressured into it. Now, it's a slow process of getting all that to be compatible with gear.
