Not really, I admitted my numbers were wrong and said, I took those from another discussion I saw a while back, but your article says something different.
But, that also doesn't mean my point was entirely wrong. 30% clearing high-end content at end game isn't a huge amount of the player base and they certainly aren't all high end raiders who concern themselves with this stuff. Also 20% vs 30% isn't a huge difference, at least, not enough to get noses bent out of shape over it.

WHM / BLM / SMN / NIN/ DNC / Omnicrafter and Gatherer
And I doubt even 5% of that 30% even clears in the first week let alone the first month. The majority of people raiding take most of the tier to clear everything. So ya my original comment stands. This crying over the HP nerf is literally nothing. They admitted they overturned it and it only effected the ost hard core groups.
Mr. FireMage can pretend all he wants that raiding is super popular, but the reality is its pretty niche content, especially in ffxiv where the large majority of the player base doesn't really care about raids.
What they admitted to is 1%. So why they nerf 3% instead? Makes you think.

>Half the player base does it
Pick one. Can't have both
How can you say 3%, when they say 1%?
This is always such a disingenuous take. Poor job balance impacts the casual to midcore range significantly more than the 1%. PF is the wild west, dealing with general inconsistencies of players and varying skill levels. Only allowing specific jobs who are dwarfing their counterparts helps to mitigate this. Think about it, if a subpar Black Mage can rival a top tier Red Mage. Why wouldn't you want to lock the Caster spot to Black Mage? After all, you have a far higher chance of getting a subpar player while potentially lucking into someone better. It's only ever a benefit when the damage discrepancy is this bad. Hence why PF was locking Warrior and Paladin out of P8. They simply offer nothing Dark Knight and Gunbreaker don't do better even if the latter two are only average players.
