Just dropping by to say that you're such a kind person. :)XiRon, RyuDragneir, & Wind-Krysvein from that other thread if he ever sees this.
Ya'll Hrothgar make me happy and are great to look at. Being a FFX fan (its pretty much in my name & Username) its great to see the Blue Hue, and be reminded of the Ronso.
Nothing to do with the thread...I know...just giving a shoutout to these lovely looking Hrothgar~

Honestly, they do Look Good. Even I think they look pretty, but still in this case with FFXIV, I believe the Females should be like the males and have a Full Feline face.
All of this and a Bag of Chips. The Pantera from Bless look humanoid, both genders do. So there is no problem when it comes to that. They both look like they are from the same race, similar but distinguishable, and so are the Khajiit eso. And I hope in the future we would be able to add Hrothgar from FFXIV to the list.
The name of the game here is --Consistency--

I think this is what people have been surprised at when I have given my opinion, because while I do think something more Bless-like would be more popular, I do personally think they should be consistent and make female hrothgar look like they belong to the same race. Although, the Bless variants aren't too egregious, in my opinion.
The thing about male hrothgar though, is that they are pretty soft in the face and stylized, so I could easily see them taking a similar approach with females.

I think it's probably because softer faces and stylizing helps making them more emotive.I think this is what people have been surprised at when I have given my opinion, because while I do think something more Bless-like would be more popular, I do personally think they should be consistent and make female hrothgar look like they belong to the same race. Otherwise we'd end up with what Disney thought would be a good idea. Same scene:
...the mere fact they're making a live action movie for Mufasa boggles my mind. Disney truly does not learn.

Of course, stylization makes for a more expressive face. I have always thought that female hrothgar should be fairly expressive. I've always imagined them as being very proud and sure of themselves, like a queen.I think it's probably because softer faces and stylizing helps making them more emotive.
