All I hear from you with every post Aveyond, is that they should basically never acknowledge the Scions existing ever again, and start from scratch. Is this correct?

The Scions should indeed take a backseat and allow for a new main cast to take the lead in Season 2. That is not to say they cannot make occasional and well-placed cameos, but to keep shoving them in our faces after having already put up with them for 10 years...is a lot to ask.
There are numerous issues with them that have led to people becoming disillusioned with them and unwilling to carry on with some of these characters. Some have their character development regress and progress in cyclical loops, others have continuously cheated death to the point where it damages the story, others with offputting behavior while some were left to remain stagnant.
Please do better to understand my perspective before claiming such things.

do you have a group of 5 - 8 npcs in mind that would take more of a front role? Or are you saying that they should do a reset of sorts and slowly start to introduce a new cast starting in 7.0 and not a full 'new' cast until 8.0 or something like that? The Scions should indeed take a backseat and allow for a new main cast to take the lead in Season 2. They kind of did tho. Varshan isn't a scion. Graha is a student of baldesion, and only recently became a scion. Estinien was just helping because Tataru held something over him, but he splits off to do his own thing, which is how we ran into him in 6.1.The Scions should indeed take a backseat and allow for a new main cast to take the lead in Season 2. Yshtola is the only original scion in the current story.
And I'm not sure why you'd think graha wouldn't be involved in the story going forward. One of the major plot points on shadowbringers was him wanting to go on an adventure with you after it was all over.
Estinien is the muscle. He's probably the strongest non-wol character we tag along with. He's stoic, but more relaxed than he used to be, through that character growth you've been wanting. He learned to laugh at himself. Something 3.0 estinien could never do.

G'raha officially joined the Scions in the end of 5.3. Not sure about Estinien.
He can be a member of more than one organisation at a time, especially when they're officially pretending that the Scions don't exist any more (even though they've just gone back to existing secretly rather than overtly).
I guess i forgot that tidbit. But still, Estinien was basically blackmailed by Tataru to help out, I don't think he ever "officially" joined the group.G'raha officially joined the Scions in the end of 5.3. Not sure about Estinien.

Graha's story should have ended in 5.3. It was supposed to, but he got too popular and as we all know, the popular characters in this game get immense amounts of plot armor (unless they're the bad guys of course, not that I'd want the bad guys to get milked to death too) so he got to abandon his super fitting and great ending and just come along with us. Now he's devolved from the great character that was the Exarch into an annoying fanboy and is just following us around like some lost sad puppy. He doesn't have any compelling character goals or motivations either other than the mega generic 'I wanna go on an adventure!'
Just get rid of this obnoxious character, he's had an adventure with us in 6.0, and he's overstayed his welcome.
It's less funny when SE likes to pretend that they have a super small budget and can't afford to put money into any improvements for the game. Laugh all you want at it, but if their budget is so limited as they claim, they wasted it on that burger scene.
He GOT popular? He was popular for a long time because of the CT storyline. People loved him long before 5.0 even released.Graha's story should have ended in 5.3. Why does he need a reason other than wanting to go on an adventure? That can, you know, create reasons for him to be around. He can go through new growth. You guys are really just stuck on hating him for some reason. I'm not even a fan of his, but I never found him annoying.
Ah yes, the CT. Back in the era of ARR where the developers/writers had the guts to kill off a popular character like Minfilla or Haurchefant/Ysayle in HW. At least when Yshtola came back in HW it was acceptable as it was more of an exception rather than the norm. Nowadays we have characters with plot armor thicker than my future, and if there's any chance a character might die, it's probably another fakeout like Yshtola in Raktika or the mess that was UT. Different rules from different times. I miss ARR/HW...
Because that's boring as hell. It amounts to 'I am here to do this thing because I want to.' Not very compelling or deep.
Cool. Let's see those reasons sometime in the near future. Maybe if they give him a good reason to stick around and tone back his annoying personality, there will be a reason to like him other than "oh look at the cute catboy! uwu!"
I only hate him because he 1) serves no purpose (story-wise) 2) has no motivation and 3) has an obnoxious personality. The Exarch did not have these problems, thus I liked him, If they fix those problems I will like graha too. Until they do, I will dislike him.

Considering he spent so long stranded in another world, fighting an apocalypse, literally dying to come back, then fighting another apocalypse, isn't he allowed to just want something simple?
Oh, right, I forgot. Doesn't matter what the characters did in previous stories or expansions, they didn't suffer enough in Endwalker, so they're all bad.
