Seconding this; we know the instance servers are limited, the last thing they're going to want is reasons for people to just idle on the island and never leave, eating up instance slots.

That said, the ability to teleport to the island is also probably a technical limitation; the teleportation system seemingly cannot teleport you into dynamically instanced areas. There are a whole slew of technical reasons this limitation might exist; for once, I am going to spare you all some three-page analysis of How MMOs Work Behind the Scenes and just point out that the limitation does exist; you cannot teleport inside of a house, you cannot teleport directly into a Bozja or Eureka instance... in all those cases, you need to speak to an NPC (or use a door, which functions akin to an NPC in this scenario) which then can check "does an instance exist that I can put this person in, or do I need to create one first."

I'm actually shocked that you can go into an instanced duty from your island sanctuary and come back to it afterwards. Though, watching closely, it appears to actually drop you at the Moraby Drydocks when you return from your instanced duty and then basically automatically speaks to the NPC to try to get you to your island. Which, if that's accurate, is one of the most hackish, duct-tape-and-paperclips solutions I think I've ever seen, but... I mean, I guess it works?

But I cannot imagine trying to set up the teleportation system to do that.
