Wanted to like Krile, but she's boring, part of the "Sharlayan posse", and was essentially Hydaelyn's lala-sized megaphone. Nothing else.

If for whatever absurdly stubborn reason they still want to focus on her, hopefully they won't tack on the goofiness immediately without any sort of development, or it'll be truly cringe-inducing.

I did pay attention. I just didn't get it.

Here's the thing. I understood what was going on, especially being a long-time fan of DrakenNier. I even had to explain what was going on to my FC members who never played a NieR game in their life.

But I didn't get how it was meant to mesh with FF14. The portable archives from Konogg for me only confirmed what I already knew, it didn't offer much in terms of why we were seeing what we were seeing. The story made sense, but it didn't mesh with the rest of the game's plot.

It has nothing to do with me paying attention: it just didn't make sense to me.

Then it's something you need to ask Yoko Taro, Yoshi-P, or whoever got it going for that collab.
