Rival Wings has anyone done it since it's been brought back?

I wasn't even aware it was back until a few days ago when I was looking at Party Finder and someone was recruiting for it. I've tried queuing twice for it now and gave up after waiting over 30 minutes.

Played a few games and lost them all. They changed the UI slightly, that's about it.

Really just the UI? That doesn't seem worth the turning the mode off with how they justified it due to the PVP revamp.

It really needs to be its own daily roulette at this point. I quite like the game mode but I rarely get to play it since I'm not often around during one of the community led revival projects.

The queue went through pretty fast during nights (EST) but outside those times it rarely goes thorough.
I've been able to play it a total of 5 times since it was re-started with 6.2.
I think it is more fun than frontlines due to there being a bunch of other things to consider.

Nobody will do it unless it has a roulette. Same with frontlines...if frontlines lost the roulette, participation would crater overnight.

I would wager a lot of people find it hard to get into because the jobs all have different ability sets and the whole mode plays completely differently than the rest of the game. It's not like pvp in other games like eso, swtor, wow, where you can take your favorite class/job and at least have a clue what you are doing. PvP in ffxiv is a completely different game.

I have played a few matches since it became available.

Just like with Frontline initially after the revamp, Limit Breaks happen way too often. You still get LB bonuses from kills & assists in RW. The increased LB generation from having 20 Soaring Stacks/Flying High status need to be removed.

The fact that SMN can have Bahamut and Phoenix summoned at the same time should be a clear indicator that something is wrong.

Other than that, they only increased the numbers for everything so it's inline with how much damage players can now do. No changes to objectives or other map mechanics.
