    DRG suggestion: 2nd charge on Geirskogul

    Hey not sure if this is the right spot to give feedback but i feel like one way to make DRG feel better to play without changing too much would be to give a 2nd charge to Geirskogul.

    This would give you incredible flexibility on when to start your life of the dragon window and fix most of the clunkiness of keeping cds alligned.

    The innitial 2nd charge also wouldnt add too much extra power (260 exta pot in the opener in a 10 min fight is rather negligible)

    the thing is.. Jump has the same Cool Down as Geirskogul and when you get Geirskogul it has absolutely no interaction with anything what so ever

    keeping your all your damage ogcds on cooldown is core to drg's rotation. that's the point.
    all adding another geirskogul charge would do is you'd use it twice in the opener. there's no reason to have 2 charges.

    There is a reason to at least look at GSK because no matter how well you play, it'll drift for 0.12s (those with extremely good ping, so a very small number of people) or 0.25s or more (most people) every time you exit LotD since it can't be queued, thus forcing GSK into the following GCD (and subsequently moving all damage oGCDs). And this is a (relatively small) problem on a job that wants to keep all oGCDs (and especially GSK/HJ) on hard cooldown.

    Either fix it so that the drift never happens if played correctly or follow a suggestion like the OP's, although it's not the one I'd personally pick. I think the best would be making GSK have no cooldown but only active when two eyes are stored and adjusting the potency as needed. This'd make the opener weaker, so perhaps it could be an opportunity to make DFD deal more damage in order for it to be impactful.

    Minor drift is pretty much unpreventable and the reason why all jobs have stacks on short CDs that are crucial to their dps. Nin has stacks on mudras, 20s; Reaper gets charges on his 30s recource producer; MNK has charges on PB, a 40s CD. Hell SAM gets charges on Meikyou and Tsubame and those are 55s and 60s respectively.
    DRG is the only outlier to this rule having not only one but two 30s CDs that are crucial for building Lot and the reason why its so demanding when it comes to not drifting.
