I mean, "walk around" and "make noises" are things and stuff, so "do stuff" is... an accurate description of it.Yeah. The minions are apparently supposed to do stuff if left to their own devices if the description of this sub feature is any indication, but all they do is walk around and talk/make noises. That's hardly anything interesting. It's neat seeing them walk a few steps in random directions I guess...

Right, but it was implied to be a bit more mischievous. lol It would have been nice to see the same interactions between certain minions that they do outside of IS.
Like Louisoix vs Bahamut for example.

Vid shows the interaction. I would love to see them do stuff like this on our islands. This was what I was expecting, just to clarify my stance on this.
Just in case this isn't common knowledge:
You can have only ten harvested nodes at any time. If you gather an 11th, the oldest one you previously collected will spawn again, dropping the total to ten. Time does not seem to be a factor, at least in the 10 minutes I've been watching.
So, if you're picking an area with only 8 nodes of something you need, and more of items you don't need, it will be faster to just collect three more unneeded items to make the respawn cycle start in that area, instead of riding off somewhere else.
Example: The hemp patch around 29, 23 has nine hemp nodes. Rather than run off to the other side of the river after picking them all, just gather two more other nodes of anything in the same area to start the hemp respawning in the same order you collected it.

You can also queue solo into any duty, leave instantly and all nodes respawn. Especially useful for rock salt, since both caves have only 4/6 nodes and both are far away from other nodes to refresh it.Just in case this isn't common knowledge:

You can gather fish after rock salt. I did that the other night since both things are pretty close together and got around 300 of each after a bit more than 3h while watching 2 movies.
