We've been asking for Viera since 1.0 when Yoshida first gave us a survey on what races we would like to see. Viera won, yet we got Au'ra instead who don't even match their concept art shown in a Liv Letter and Viera/Hrothgar are not even finished. If they were to add another race it would be the same cluster fuck we have now. Focus resources on fixing the current shit instead of adding more.

For those that don’t know,

Meteion is the name of the blue bird girl in Endwalker. Her race looks new.

They said that with Au'Ra, and then we got Hroth'gar and Viera, we will get new races if the fan base asks enough.

Please, can we not. We don't need any more races. They should focus on what they already have. Improving male hrothgar, releasing female hrothgar in a good state, perhaps adding more headgear to viera, customization options in general, etc..

I'm fairly certain they said we are not going to get more playable races.

They use the Au'Ra model without the scales and diffrent feet, it would not be a major departure from what we have already, and the game will always need "improvements" in some form or another, by that same argument should they stop adding jobs because it would take time away from improving the game?

So should they have stopped after Au'Ra and not made Viera because they could have focused more effort in allowing Au/Ra's horns/heads not to be linked, If people want another race to be playable let them have it, we shouldn't stop at what we have because it would temporarily subtract focus from what you want.

I don't think we'll be getting anymore playable races beyond female hrothgar which we'll be getting at some point the future, making races is hard, best they focus their efforts on other things.

I mean putting new hair styles on viera/hroth'gar is hard, so was making the male viera maybe they should have just put the effort elsewhere?
