You got it, that is exactly my point. Part of the reason I'm not willing to compromise is that there is hardly any compromise to be had - either the reward stays unique to the best of each DC or it doesn't. The only compromise I am willing to deal with is making it top x% rather than top 100, or at very least an increase in the pool (200-500 maybe).

Yoshida has expressed multiple times that Feast Top 100 rewards stay unique and won't be re-released. The one thing I could imagine him deviating on is the re-release, most likely however as another Trophy to compete for - i.e. Top X.

I agree with Yoshida's stance on the matter. No other content other than the World First race and Ranked PVP is a competition and to keep the proof of achievement true, official endorsement is given to top competitors. In PVP it happened to be unique ingame rewards, something Id think should be given to the top raiding teams as well.

But summed up, even had I not won my armour, I'd still believe the rewards should stay unique or at very least equally difficult to obtain.
