Housing and Island Sanctuary connected

I hope this isnt even under consideration.
1. Having to redo the decorations is a pain to begin with and not everything goes into storage
2. You would never get to see anyone passing by, with wards chances are slim with island its just about zero
3. Why would it be better? Server load would still be there so it wouldnt be possible for everyone to get a house without crashing the servers.
4. At the moment i have experienced problems just entering my house/or fc house ever since latest patch and sanctuary island. Just entering to tend flowerpots/aetherial wheels or submersibles is a problem around prime time.
5. Exclude everyone who hasnt finished Endwalker from housing? Thats just plain evil.
Servers are being hammered at the moment and i dont want it to get any worse by having uncontrolled expansion of housing possibly leading to instance server crashes and nobody able to get in or out of their house

This part i find interesting that they connected the island to the apartments n housing servers.. I have had not had a problem with any zone just my apartment..

Makes me wonder if this is the foundation of instance housing as in soon we can deco in there..

I believe it would be better if we have the removal of the Housing system and just add it in Island Sanctuary. Basically everyone would need to be notified about the removal of housing in advance and have their items be in storage. Also players can choose which size they would want for their house in Island Sanctuary. Sadly this will also mean players need to complete Endwalker 6.0 and redecorate their House again. But I feel this a better decision in the long run. Plus players not only get their own house but thier own Island all in one package. With this addition players wouldn't want to leave their Island at all now

Hope its something the development team considers.

Or they touch nothing and I just keep my Ishgardian house and my new private island separately. I have my summer home and my winter home.

3)THEY GAVE US ENTIRE INSTANCED ISLANDS, A SINGLE HOUSE/MANSION IS NOTHING IN COMPARISON TO AN ISLAND.

Did you even compare what the OP said and this response to the OP? No, you didn't. The OP is talking about removing housing altogether and replacing it with I.S.

Island sanctuary would have been great as housing if they completely changed it lol.

Im mean IF it was to just give EVERYONE (lv1 and up ) an island to build any style of home on.

S,M,L? ..multiple homes ...whatever we want to create. with a huge item limit to go with it.

THAT would have been a patch to remember , one to be proud of and one to actually solve issues that have been avoided for 8years.

I'm with you though. Maybe require us to build a small house and later on a medium and much later a large. That would have been nice. Keep in mind that the only reason everyone can have an island is that the options ARE limited (and rudimentary).

There was a datamined picture floating around of a big plot of land in the sanctuary with a house on it. I saw it in passing the other day on a subreddit or something. This has led many to wonder if the devs are in fact tinkering with the idea of homes in the islands. Time will tell I guess.
I can try and find the pic when I get home if anyone's actually interested.

Instanced houses should be implemented, but I don't think they should necessarily be tied to the island sanctuary, and I am definitely against taking away the already existing houses in the wards.

I'd like to see instanced houses that are accessible from a directory in each of the housing districts, so that players who opt for instanced houses can have the same choices of environment and house style that one gets when buying a standard ward house.

edit: I also just realized some cons for having instanced housing in the island sanctuary. First of all, it's gated by finishing Endwalker. That's a much higher bar than any of the housing districts. Furthermore, the island sanctuary access limits would be issue. Only your friends and FC mates would be able to visit your house, they'd be limited to 15 at a time, and they can only visit your house while you are present on the island. If a house could be accessed from a directory in the housing districts (just like apartments), it would not have to be bound by these restrictions.

i think it could be an either / or situation - add instanced housing to the island, or another system that allows you to set the style of the area, leave the current neighbourhoods as they are. It could alleviate the lack of available housing issue while providing unique options to the instanced housing as a benefit.
