Crafting endgame gear without endgame crafting gear. Sounds about right in terms of balance. You shouldnt be able to easily craft endgame gear with entry level crafting gear. Especially if you are using macros.

That wasn't really my point, though it was my problem and I'm taking steps to fix that. My point was the sheer gap for what it calls minimum.
even if I barely met it I would expect to be tested for doing these crafts. But just being so far got me frustrated and I panicked.
I hit walls enough in this game and when it happened with something that is strickly solo and not reaction based, kinda broke me a bit.

?????????????? Craft the basic level 90 gear. Then craft some leveling items below it for like 50k a pop at times. Do your weeklies for crafting and gathering scrips, you can do those with barebones level 90 unmelded gear, I did. And you certainly dont need overmelding to make scrips to buy materia with. Your problem is you're trying to immediately go from max level to max geared when theres a process which can be done with next to no gil investment, just time.

Gatherer materia is super easy. Just hit the legendary nodes with a spiritbond buff active. Add durability for more spiritbond hits.

Thank you for the advice. Gathering isn't really a problem for me atm (Though I loathe FSH lol), I'm just getting gathering scriips so I can gather mats rather than buy them so I can craft the more efficient
crafter collectables.

If you get the new purple stuff, do you need to stop and make pactmaker (6.1) stuff to make perfectionist in HQ? Or can you coast in using HQ parts and heavy buffs?

Spiritbonding has a *huge* bonus when the gear is lower level than the node. Accessories don't really provide much in the way of stats beyond GP. If you equip mid tier accessories but swing at legendary nodes, you seriously get a full spiritbond pop in like 5 minutes without a bonding potion. It's insane how big the bonus is.

1) The scrip gear is perfectly adequate enough. If there is an issue then it is because you haven't made the best use of the melding slots, even from a rudimentary/entry perspective. Like, I've just played around with a build and managed to create something that is 3638/3367/573 baseline which is really adequate. I can post it if you so wish. You will of course be required to use consumables, as everyone does.

2) It is logical to be able to craft everything, but it is not logical to do so without some requirement or investment after the fact of 90, otherwise you end up with markets that are completely oversaturated because everyone can do anything once reaching the level.

I do hate being blunt about it, but the system is not the issue here. It's the knowledge people -- In this case, you, have with it. Which is OK. It happens.

On the new nodes I get a lot of spiritbond, a rotation more or less and all pactmaker is 100%

Incorrect. The minimum craftsmanship requirements to even try crafting it are 3700. I have the script gear and materia in all my accessories and still I'm not over 3200.

I don't think you do. For the iL590 scrip gear and iL560 accessories, without melds or food, Ariyala's says 3457 Craftsmanship. LINK HERE.

Compared to back in HW times, current crafting -- including getting into the best crafting gear in the game -- is fast and easy. Some veterans might say too easy.

Anyway, if you haven't already, you might want to read Caimie Tsukino's guides at FFXIVRealm and/or check out her posts in the crafting section of these forum. Caimie is a legend of FFXIV crafting since way back, even though she won't admit it.

Trying to make craft 6.2 master recipes with 6.0 gear is like trying to do the new Savage with 6.0 dungeon and tomestone gear, it just aint gonna work.
