Around these parts we routinely scroll past "Tourist hikers mauled by (insert large predator here)" headlines without even batting an eyelash it's so commonplace, it happens several times a season ffs. By all means enjoy the beauty around you but understand there are no safe places. And before anyone says anything, yes I do go out, a lot, very very far into the back country. I just happen to (mostly) know what I'm doing and understand the very real danger. Fortunately Island Sanctuary has none of that! I've now increased my rating from 7 to 8 out of 10 for *ahem* NO RISK OF IMMINENT DEATH
It's just a bad mentality and really all it does is seek to weakly dismiss the content. The point is to give you a virtual space in which you can enjoy the game, the world, and the content with people from all across the world, and people you may otherwise not be able to easily meet. -- and to give you something to progress towards.
