Well this content is the one single most bad thing they did for this game. Why they invested time in it over instanced houseing that people wanted? It's like yoshi say F you to players. He for years say they can't do it but then here a system that 1 step from being just this. Now if at last this was something relevant to the game. But no it a game in a game. That is so boring I don't think any one even test played. 100% Shure yoshi did not as he don't care.

I can speak for my self only.
I am glad you love it but at this point I must ask why you play an RPG if you like the most basic farm sim ever made. There amazing farm sums out there go play them and you will have way more fun that you ever did in ff14. Not a hate comment just how I see it.up to you what you do after all.

I've noticed that the Island Sanctuary here has already reached the point where I log in once a day to feed the animals and collect everything, and I haven't even been going that hard at it. Hardly long lasting content imo

I don't understand the prediction status to be honest. Is that referring to the next day?

Just to start with some helpful terms:

Season is a standard reset week.
Cycle is a day.

Popularity is the current season demand.
Predicted demand is the estimated demand for the next season. We won't know until next week how accurate it will be.

Supply is current supply.
Demand shift seems to be related to how much the supply increased/decreased compared to the following day since demand itself is static for the entire season. I'm not completely positive about that yet, though.

Basically, you want to look for items with High or Very High Popularity but Insufficient or Nonexistent supply and align an efficiency bonus with them. Don't make too many of the same item in a single cycle or you could lower the cowries you get quite a bit.

It's not for everyone, which you could say about every piece of content in the game.

Raiding, Purple Relics, Crafting, Housing, even MSQ and etc.
There's people who have XIV characters just to play Majong, and others that live only for Gpose and there aren't any rewards for taking screenshots, but it's just fun for some. The same way some find the most fun in Savage and Ultimate. That's the thing about XIV...

I just find Island Sanctuary fun and relaxing, and many seem to be enjoying it. It's good for what it is: a mini game within a much larger MMO, and you're entitled to not like it.
