You could create dozen Island sanctuaries


People don't get, that sometimes they are not the targetgroup for this specific content. Nobody is the only player in this MMO

False equivalency. This is Endwalkers exploratory content, it used the same resources as Eureka/Bozja.
We wouldn't have ibstsnced housing instead of Island Sanctuary.
You can tell that many housing features simply wouldn't work here, they can't even get the orchestrion to work properly.

Yeah I agree, I went in with negative expectations and still somehow managed to be let down.
I did expect already a low quality mobile game kinda thing, but it's even worse. At least in Farmville you could choose what to do, in the sanctuary not even that, it's pretty railroaded and you can't just do the activity you like. More than your sanctuary, feels like an underpaid job that you don't even like.
I personally tried to force myself to do it because I love those mounts so much, but I have a rule about not doing things that kill me inside and this is the less pleasant activity I've ever done in the whole game.

Like I said in another thread, I just wish they could make all tradable so that people like us who don't like it can just throw money at people who like it, it's a gain for both sides.
After all why not, Ishgard restoration has everything tradable and it's always been a pro keeping people engaged, rather than a cons.

As someone who grew up with harvest moon and still love farm Sim games, I believe I'm the target audience for IS. Yet I can also still confidently say that they waste resources and time on this instead of instanced housing.

IS is so lackluster and janky that I can't enjoy doing it. This is what happened when a game not designed for farming sim try to half-assed make one.
