The new abyssos armor is an eye sore

if you don't like it then glamour something else over it, there's plenty of different looking gear in this game.

The issue is pretty clearly that everyone and their mother that plays Tank or DRG/RPR is running around with a giant, obnoxious particle effect on their backs. Not that they necessarily like the look of the armor itself. Every weapon with a particle effect, to include ultimate weapons, have their "glow" turned off while sheathed, which trims down visual clutter significantly. The armor is a complete eyesore with how many people are using it. Ez fix would be to just toggle the armor particle on-unsheathe, but not sure if they can do that.

Is it me or is that a backwards way of thinking? Harder content should reward more unique looking armor/trinkets compared to their easier counterparts, right? Eh, I am arguing against the wind though, lol.

I have seen some of you that complain about those armor gear and I think it is reasonable one. It is like all the summoners summons there titans at once and block the view. So there would be an option to turn those effects off from others so you doesn't see them all at once on your screen. So that option would be great if it was there.

It's that Savage raiders honestly thought with no evidence or confirmation from the devs that they would have particle effects on the savage gear and the normal version wouldn't.

In fairness, I thought that was a pretty safe bet myself. Like I've said before though, I'm not complaining. It was a nice surprise.

You're reading something into people's statements that isn't necessarily there.

The number of people having access to it does also compound how much of the effect you have to see if you find it visually unpleasant.

Also, personally, I do find the armour (the actual armour, not the VFX) cool-looking and that's why I want a non-glowing version.

Savage Raiders will be able to dye their gear. Even better if you can change the color of the flames. Plus Savage raiders get the weapons and those that don't raid won't so I dunno what the fuss is all about. Bunch of whining over nothing if you ask me.
