As for people pointing out language problems...on EU people already speak many different languages and a lot can't speak English (since you know, it's a load of different countries with different languages) so...it would be nothing new.

I don't have any language issues and I have endgame characters on Chaos and Lite. Content runs find although one does need to take into account the time zones. If you want content in the evening NA time that'll be the middle of the night in Europe so one does need to plan play time around that difference.

There are issues, not big but they're there. But we're used to them and working around them. Especially with the other officially supported languages, French and German, it can happen that somebody only speaks those and they have the right to since they're officially supported. So having to use auto-translate or having to switch language can happen. Or just people speaking very poor English so you kinda need to decipher or again swap to their language if you know it (in case of unsupported languages too). Or maybe those people are quiet and you think they're just not listening while they're not understanding a word you say. It happens. Just saying that cross-region wouldn't have languages being a problem, since people speaking different languages and playing together already happens regularly.

And by the way, Materia doesn't need mroe servers, it needs more people. From what people say, they have way too many servers for their population and would be fine with just 2 or 3, and people do move from the emptier servers to the more populated ones (Sophia and Ravana) to have a less desert situation (but queues still suck).
