    Disappering Mobs, NPC, & PC

    Hello All!

So, I have just recently bought the game, and Immediately after installing I start to play. Everything seems normal but about an hour into it, all mobs would disappear, and i was not even able to finish my first leve quest. I have seen where logging out and logging in helps, but it does not do anything for me. Now its to a point where when i log in I may have 10 minutes of good gameplay and then my computer just refuses to load any more characters. Has anyone encountered this problem, or know what it could possibly be? I have already tried to re-install the game and it did NOTHING.

I really love this game for the short time i was able to play it, and I honestly want to KEEP PLAYING. I just cannot when I cant even see or target ANYTHING.

    AMD FX-4100 4 x 3.6 processor
    G.Skill ripjaws 8GB 4gb x 2
    XFX 7770 1GB VIDEO CARD

    My computer is BRAND NEW

I get the same problem. It doesn't matter what settings i play the game at. Sometimes npcs are there sometimes they are not. It's very frustrating.

Yup. Ive adjusted the settings to the lowest possible and it still, 2 minutes into the game, gave me the same problem. So it cannot be that. I have Uninstalled & reinstalled the game and that did not help. I have the latest driver for my AMD 7770 HD. I honestly have no clue to what the problem could be. but its to the point where I cant even play the game anymore. Pretty ridiculous.

This has to do with some of the 7xxx cards. I can confirm it with the 7770 and it is a driver issue atm. Gonna have to wait until a new driver comes out from Ati or use a 5xxx or 6xxx Radeon or 4xx or 5xx Nvidia card.

I'm not spending $ on a lower end card than the one i already have to play this game. I've been trying to get help from support to no avail for this. I guess I'll cancel and move on.

The support you are looking for is with ATI/AMD not SE. If ATI lacks the support you are looking for then don't buy their product. That's the rights of being a consumer, choice.

I actually ran into this problem as well during the weekend... Bought an ASUS HD7770 w/ GPU Tweak and nothing but problems when it comes to displaying monsters, player characters & NPCs. I can max out settings with the card, and everything in the game looks great (although a bit slow on response), or tone it down to the lowest settings and it's the exact same problem either way. I'm going to either upgrade or downgrade to a different card. After a full reinstall of my OS, GPU Driver, & FFXIV it's gotta be the graphics card.

Yup. confirmed. just went to best buy and picked up the R6670 2gb, and it works fine. I guess I will just have my FFXIV graphics card, and an R7770 for newer games.
