Who knew the 6.15 Omega Quests… (Spoilers)

For the first time I'm also gonna disagree with Houkai here.

Like the previous post says. Vrtra's sister might be alive. He also took extra care not to endanger anyone not directly involved in the quest.

Furthermore Endwalker's MSQ ended in 6.0. They shouldn't hang so tightly at the same message anymore. This is a MMO. It's been 8 years of trying to write a story based around the same theme. It's time to turn the page because it would be exponentially difficult to come up with more ideas while imposing that kind of thematic limitation.

Except they're not. Moving ahead with the message, that is.

Instead, they apply it to our enemies and never us. There were at LEAST three instances in which I cringed in 6.2's MSQ because of the blatant moral hypocrisy. OF COURSE Hydaelyn left a "fail-safe" crystal that will allow us to magically "fix" the Void in less than 5 patches, something the Ascians could not do in 12k years. Of course. Hail Hydaelyn.

the crystal only worked because it was light aspected and she was part human so there was something to restore.
edit: the void most likely will be restored similar to the edens raid by uni and his friends whos currently studying how to do it.

Yes, well "Azdaja could be alive!" doesn't work for me. 'Tis a flimsy excuse, and one that rather sloppily defends previous events of whose ending directly contradicts this. As per revelations about G'raha's OG timeline, we could have saved the Ancients and let them live in their little bubble reality but chose not to. They weren't "dead" yet, and until 6.2 we had no definitive proof Azdaja was still around. As I said, hypocrisy. Our enemies must "Forge Ahead" and forget the past and their painful mistakes. We get to fix anything and everything we and our friends regret with little flaws or mishaps to show for it. I'm tired of Square trying to pretend this isn't happening.

As far as I'm concerned, Venat for all she saved the world was not a morally uprighteous person and I'm glad she's gone. 'Tis the least penance she can stand to serve for annihilating an entire people. Now, if only the narrative would STOP reminding me how convenient it was that what Sundered Azem became was suddenly The Mothercrystal's Brave Little Toadie after she'd forgotten what her "mentor" did to her and the world she loved so much.

how does it contradict? no seriously, how? ew, amongst other things, was about not sacrificing the future for the past and learning to deal with grief. vrtre moved on, he lived his life and now he just wants to see if his sister is alive or dead. thats it, that's the long and short of it. hes not sacrificing radz at han for it, instead he drained his private coffers to fund its restoration and he sets up a more efficient system to do it and is now looking for her.
