They're absolute jokers that are completely disconnected from the game mode and seem to base all their decisions around personal preference (BLM) or statistics they take at face value. Hell, it took them four months to make it so DRG couldn't be bind, heavy or half-sleep during their LB, shit like that should've been fixed before launch or on the first patch. Can't forget PLDs still running around abusing cover on Onsal either.
BLM needed buffs badly. Did they over do it? A little. Was it broken? Not really, but it got nerfs immediately after.

AST is extremely strong, the nerfs were justified.

Balance is a tough act. There's always going to be over buffing and over nerfing. WAR seemed broken at first as well and that led to bloodwhetting getting nerfed which made the job basically a free kill and thus they rebuffed it back to 100%. Every pvp game goes through this stuff and balance will never be perfect.
