Already at rank 6 and I see a problem. Mammets ventures cost seafare tokens. Seafare tokens are slowly gained by set timers. Island tokens are next to useless, make the grainery take island tokens instead of seafare tokens.

Even if they raised the cost of the items, definitely. This is going to end up being a slog that people will forget about quickly once the excitement wears off and they realize it's gonna take weeks or months to even get a single hair style.

I also dont understand why we have to upgrade via seafarer tokens. So far, it's not very common to gain them? and all good rewards are tied to them.
Meanwhile Islander rewards seem kinda lackluster? Would of been a better reason to gather materials > sell them for Islander Cowrie > build/upgrade facilities + use them for ventures.
Chain your recipes and build 3 workshops first, once you start building up groove they come in thick and fast. I only have 2 workshops and my 2nd day is not finished yet and have made 613 so far compared to my lackluster 1st day of 291. Second day final total 757. So with a third workshop you will probably make 1000 a day (5000 a week) I dont think that's too bad for doing nothing.I also dont understand why we have to upgrade via seafarer tokens. Green tokens should be scrapped and we should be able to trade the mats for blue tokens. Then it would feel like im actually gathering for a goal instead of it just for exp. They should also change it so you can turn in the crafted items for blue tokens too.I came here to type very much this. I do not personally like Island Sanctuary. I have to wait for workshops to gain blue shells? really? Unless I'm missing something lmao. I'm not fond of real-time mechanics. I wish it was more in game time. It would feel more immersive I feel. Or be it like Animal Crossing where alot of events happen like random appearances off-shore, or various npcs come to talk to you etc. Events to excite the player. I've played Harvest Moon, Star dew and animal crossing, and story of seasons and all especially harvest moon were great games. The mobile game feeling is having one currency that is difficult to get but it gives you that good stuff, optional and mandatory stuff if you wanna expand your "paradise". The fact the green shells dont even provide no benefits to your island is disappointing.
I was looking forward to live in the Island and feel free and relaxed to do content not ..wait for the next day to do anything. Anyway came here to give my 2 cents. I love this concept so I felt the need to type this here.
Also add some repeatable quests i.e bring me 10 apples receive X blue tokens and X exp maybe even leves?

The problem is you went too fast. The tagline on this is "living the slow life" and you couldn't help but grind it out. It was designed like those other idle mobile games that have timed tasks going for hours and days at a time. Going too fast is going to leave you short on currency and materials.
