Hell, as SMN, I actually popped my Aegis shields during her multi-hit aoes just so my healers would have less trouble worrying about me and focus on other teammates didn't have mitigation.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but a normal fight engaging more of your kit (defensives, in this case) is good, actually.
