Raise currency (tokens) cap to 100k

I don't know who still needs to hear this, but the tomestone cap is relatively low so that casual players can 'keep up' with the tomestone gear.

Raiders will get better gear faster, so get into EX/Savage if you want the l33t equips. Casual players can do some roulettes here and there to stay geared at the tomestone cap so they don't feel like they've 'fallen behind.' Then whole thing resets with the next major patch, which isn't that long of a cycle.

It's a decent solution to a fairly difficult problem in MMOs.

But that doesn't really explain why Poetics or secondary have such a low cap. If the cap was say 100k for poetics. One day I might be bored and be like lets do X weapon. But since I have to spend it at 2k it never reaches that point. I don't think I have needed poetics once this expansion. The last tier of gear and by the time expansion drops are sooo far apart. That if you cap weekly you can have every set.

The 2k tomes are that way to keep you thinking about them and spending them. There's gil to be made in spending either 2k currency. If you craft, there's spiritbond to gain from crafting the latest items.

Yes they have items I can buy and MB. I am not going to keep track of MB prices for mats across multiple expansions for a few gil. Faster and easier to just gather or craft 90 stuff. But that really isn't worth the effort. There was an item in HW that vendored well but they nerfed it. Radz doesn't even have a poetics tab yet.

I was referring to the secondary tomes for crafting. For poetics you could also go and run the older craft achievements for each tier making some old master components. I normally just buy goblinol. I remember that gem they nerfed. It was 500gil each
