The story recognizing it is bad is not really relevant. the writers have forced us to comply. Im not arguing that its bad that this happens to people in the story, Im arguing its wrong that the PLAYER should be forced to do this to their character.

That's a whole other argument, but I think we can agree that in this instance it is slavery as they are not working for wages, they are given basic living in exchange for being property of an owner.

Complete deflection of the issue at hand. As I mentioned before, its okay that slavery is present in the game. It is not okay that we are forced to make our character dance for the amusement of a pervert for very loose story reasons.

I recommend you read more closely. I was pointing out the difference between there being pole dancers slaves and us being forced to walk up to a pole and pole dance in order continue to MSQ.

no offense, but in the following of the MSQ we murder with impunity, so we can "borrow" things from the people and beings that no longer need them. and you choose THIS to be your hill?
if I remember correctly, we needed to get information, since we couldnt murder him like usual and just take something, we had to act to do something, in this case, dance on stage, to get the information.

What they're saying is that it's OK to have slaves dancing for perverts as long as "our" character doesn't need to jig for them. Funnily enough, people are always comfortable with murdering innocent animals and slaughtering legions of enemy soldiers for laugh and/or personal benefit (even though the average Garlean fighting the WoL is like a human with a pointy stick fighting Superman) but this kind of stuff is too much.
